TODAY -
That May
Gyanabati Konjengbam *
The land where serenity blooms,
where kaleidoscope colors shimmer.
The symphony of sorrow echoes;
the unheard voice screams unspoken words.
The heart that cries out in silence
shatters into fractions of pieces.
The broken bits pray for harmony
and a brighter dawn on the horizon.
In the space where love is forgotten
where the ray of hope flickers,
peace and chaos are intertwined in the universe-
an amalgamation of love and hatred.
Calibre is the oasis in the desert.
Will the garden of peace be stilled
by the shadows and traces of the past?
Will that day be etched in the heart?
