Spring's symphony in my farmhouse
Dr Ranbir Laishram *
As winter's chill begins to fade,
The frosty mornings are but a shade,
The dense fog lifts, and clouds depart,
Welcoming Spring to my farmhouse heart.
With Cheiraoba's festive delight,
Spring's sweet magic takes flight,
The peepers' chorus, a joyous sound,
Echoes through my fields, all around.
The azure sky, a brilliant hue,
Dark grey mornings, with clouds anew,
Thunderstorms rage, with gusty might,
But Spring's beauty shines, in morning light.
The birds return, with songs so sweet,
Dining in my courtyard, at our feet
The Hydrangea flowers, in rainfall dance,
Bloom with vibrant hues, in a wondrous prance.
Young grass sprouts, on the plain so green,
Seeds, roots, and stones, with life unseen,
Shoots burst forth, with vitality so bright,
A testament to life, in Spring's delight.
In Spring's symphony, I find my peaceful nest,
A season of new beginnings, where love and hope find rest,
So stay with us, dear Spring, for just a little while,
And let your beauty, our hearts and souls, beguile.
