A Call to Unity
Dr Ranbir Laishram *
Can justice reign, if we languidly stand,
Babble, while injustice spreads its root across the homeland ?
Can peace and harmony prevail,
If spite and malice, we continually hail?
Can change occur, if we don't strive,
With new ideas and a willingness to thrive?
Can progress be made, if barriers remain,
And social divisions continue to sustain?
Can revival happen, if issues are ignored,
And deliberations are silenced, and problems unexplored?
Can a good governance prevail,
if exploitation and nepotism reigns supreme?
This task is not for one tribe alone to bear,
Injustice looms large, and its presence is felt.
In policies, left or right, we must transcend and rise,
And strive for a shared vision, a common end.
This is a time of great challenge and test,
An array of tasks awaits, and we must do our best.
A wish to make ourselves better, to rise above,
To unite and stand together, in solidarity and love.
First , let us break down our rigid social structures
And to find a true meaningful change,
The indigenous tribes must unite, and stand as one and strong,
A call to unity for justice, peace, and change to be won.
