Manipur - I
Rajiv Irungbam *
Oh, you troubled state,
What have you done, or is this your fate?
Aren't your people here at stake?
Don't you at least want to take a break?
You were once full of hope.
Now I feel that your soil bears no crop.
I have seen green in the valley,
And you would blossom forever on those hills.
Dear Mother Nature, is this your fault?
Or is it your people who have lost all control?
I wish someday, I wish one day,
Dear golden state, your troubles are at bay.
