A Place, We Dearly Call Childhood
Misna Chanu *
The Autumn wind is filled
with nostalgic melody!
The roads are covered with
fallen leaves from the trees!
The Sun is kissing
the horizon of the Earth!
Smell of pine trees from
the nearby forest,
and the whispers of wind
from the far away field!
They are twinkling
like stars in my memory,
among them, something
is scintillating
in a distant memory,
where the dreams are innocent,
happiness has simple explanation,
expressions are few
and laughter and joy
pay a visit to life more often!
Oh!!! Where's that place!!
I wish I could escape
through the furrows of time
to catch some landscapes of life
from a place, we dearly call childhood!
