The 2024 Thilsri International Film Festival has become a landmark moment for Manipuri actress Angobi Chanu, who received a Special Mention for Best Actress for her outstanding performance in the film "Before I Leave You Again." This accolade marks a significant achievement in her debut film, making her win even more remarkable.

Angobi Chanu, known for her success as Femina Miss India Manipur and representing the state at the national level in Femina Miss India, has seamlessly transitioned from the world of modeling to acting. Her journey from being a celebrated model to an award-winning actress showcases her versatility and dedication to her craft.

"Before I Leave You Again," directed by Yogesh Lohan, is a powerful narrative that has not only earned Angobi her first acting accolade but has also garnered other prestigious awards. The film won Best Cinematography, awarded to Arjun Kukreti, further highlighting its visual excellence, and an Honourable Mention for Best Actor, awarded to Rohit Giri, making it a standout at the festival.
