Manipur were crowned over team champions of the 28th Junior National Sepaktakraw Championship 2025, held in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. The state ended their triumphant champaign with five gold and one silver medals across boys' and girls' team, regu and quad events to claim the overall championship title.

Manipur claimed gold in both the boys' and girls' team events, the boys' and girls' regu events, and the girls' quad event, while securing a silver medal in the boys' quad event.

The squad competition wrapped up the championship as the state girls defeated Haryana in the final, with set scores of 15-9 17-15 . In the semifinal, they dominated Odisha 15-4 15-8 after beating Andhra Pradesh 15-2 15-8 in the quarterfinal.

On their way to the last eight, the girls produced peerless performances, overcoming Assam, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

Meanwhile, the boys' squad team settled for silver medal after faltering at the final hurdle, losing 12-15 13-15 to Bihar. In the semifinal, they registered a dominant 15-9 15-3 win over Kerala. In the quarterfinal, they got the better of Nagaland 17-15 10-15 15-13 .
