Yummy Noodles, a proud “Made in India, Made for India” brand with deep roots in Meghalaya, successfully concluded the grand finale of its inaugural Yummy Talent Fest—a first-of-its-kind celebration of local talent in the region on April 5. With a total prize pool of INR 2 Lakhs, the event marked a significant milestone in the brand’s journey of community empowerment through creativity.
The Yummy Talent Fest was envisioned as a platform to recognize and amplify Meghalaya’s emerging artists and performers. As the first Indian Ready-to-Eat Noodle manufacturer with both its factory and strongest consumer base in Meghalaya, Yummy Noodles sought to give back to the community that has supported it since 2008.
Over 600 attendees gathered at the U Soso Tham Auditorium to witness 20 finalists perform and exhibit their work live, selected through rigorous shortlisting from 142 participants who registered across the state. In the months leading up to the finale, participants were featured on social media to help them gain national recognition and celebrate their unique voices and skills.
Rithika Baruah, Chief Marketing Officer of Yummy Noodles, shared:
“We are incredibly proud to have launched the Yummy Talent Fest. Our goal was to create a platform where Meghalaya’s hidden talents could be discovered and celebrated. The community’s response has been phenomenal, and we are thrilled to have played a role in showcasing the incredible creativity and artistry within the region. This is our way of giving back while nurturing the next generation of artists.”
