Training Program on Mushroom cultivation at Nagamapal
A training program on Mushroom cultivation technology and food processing was organized by Rama Foundation in collaboration with Reunion Foundation from 29th December 2024 to 4th January 2025, at, RAMAF office Nagamapal RIMS road, Manipur, India.
Resource person Mr. Soram Rajendra Kumar, a Regional Achiever Awardees delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, disease management, identification of poisonous mushrooms, value-added products such as pickles and dried mushrooms, marketing, and financial assistance.
The objective of this initiative is to increase production, empower individuals with valuable skills to improve their quality of life, and help them become more self-reliant. The main theme of the training program is to help generate income and develop skills. At the end of the training program a free health awareness was also included.
