Training on Mushroom Cultivation Technology at Nambol
Rama Foundation successfully organized a two-day training program on Mushroom Cultivation Technology on the 22nd and 23rd of January 2025 at Nambol Sabal Leikai, Manipur, India.
The program featured Mr. Soram Rajendra Kumar, a recipient of the prestigious Regional Achievers' Award, as the resource person. He delivered an insightful session on various aspects of mushroom cultivation, including scientific techniques, disease management, identification of poisonous mushrooms, and the preparation of value-added products such as pickles and dried mushrooms.
The session also covered marketing strategies and avenues for financial assistance.

The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance mushroom production, empower participants with valuable skills to improve their livelihoods, and foster self-reliance. The central theme of the program focused on income generation and skill development.
