While supporting the ANSAM's press statement dated 11th February 2025 against the imposed border fencing along the imaginary India-Myanmar border amidst Naga Homeland, the office of the JTSA strongly appeal the Government of India to immediately stop the said construction at people's interest, and restore the FMR as practiced since times immemorial.
The Government of India (Gol) as to make India an incredible is expected to be more serious to solve and seal the long-protracted Indo-Naga Peace talk rather displaying their unfaithfulness to the entire world.
Scrapping of Free Movement Regime and imposed border fencing are considered as gross violation of Naga peoples right for self-determination, also exhibit India's timidity, despite being a vibrant Nation. The change and development being witnessed in entire Manipur under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and Shri N Biren Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur are praiseworthy.
The sincerity of the mighty Gol is look forward in resolving every issue in all future. In connection to the present political tug of war and instability in Manipur, every right-thinking citizen and legislature of the state has equal responsibility to carefully anatomise the past and engineer the future instead of bragging for their own political mileage against the popular Government at this critical phase that will be well-noted down in history of Manipur.
Every vested decision taken against the nation building who stand for the rights and future of the indigenous peoples will be uglily remembered. The change of leadership in the state at this present juncture might even escalate misunderstanding amidst present crises instead of restoring peace and normalcy in the state.
