Mushroom Cultivation Technology training at Tarung, Imphal
A training program on mushroom cultivation technology was jointly organized by REALM OF NATURE BASED ACTIONS and RAMA FOUNDATION from 28th to 29th April 2025, held and sponsored by RNBA, at Tarung, Imphal, Manipur.
Resource person Mr. Soram Rajendra Kumar, a Regional Achiever Awardee, delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, disease management, identification of poisonous mushrooms, value-added products such as pickles and dried mushrooms, marketing, and financial assistance.
The objective of this initiative is to increase production, empower individuals with valuable skills to improve their quality of life, and help them become more self-reliant. The main theme of the training program is to help generate income and develop skills. A health awareness session was also included at the end of the program.
Mushroom Cultivation Technology training at Tarung, Imphal
Around 30 persons from different districts of Manipur participated in the training. Spawn and plastics were distributed, and at the end of the training, certificates were also presented to the trainees. A farm visit was included at Mr. Ibomcha's farm, Kwaktithel Lakpoklakpam Leikai.
