Chief Justice, High Court of Manipur at Urup OBC Girls Hostel Relief Camp

Hon'ble Mr. Justice D. Krishnakumar, Chief Justice, High Court of Manipur accompanied by Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Bimol Singh, Judge, High Court of Manipur & Executive Chairman of MASLSA & Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Guneshwar Sharma, Judge, High Court of Manipur visited the Urup OBC Girls Hostel Relief Camp, Imphal East District on 14th May, 2025.

The Chief Justice interacted with the inmates and also distributed some basic relief materials such as Jumbo box, Mosquito net (folding double), torch light with lamp, Diaper, Bucket, Mug, infant milk, Sanitary Pad, Soap, Detergent, mosquito coils, Sports Items such as Football, Volleyball, Skipping Ropes, toys for children, children’s clothes & shoes. A Free Medical Camp for the inmates was also conducted in association with Directorate of Health Services, Manipur & CMO, Imphal East.

Shri Ojesh Mutum Registrar General, High Court of Manipur; Smt. N. Lanleima, Chairperson, Imphal East DLSA; Shri Alek Muivah, Member Secretary, MASLSA; Shri S. Brajabihari Singh, Chairman, Bar Council of Manipur, Shri Y. Nimolchand, President, High Court Bar Association of Manipur and other officials were also present.

From the District Administration, Smt. Nivedita Lairenlakpam, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East and CMO, Imphal East along with other officers participated.

The visit is in continuation of the legal services & free medical camp being initiated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.R. Gavai, Judge, Supreme Court of India & Executive Chairman, NALSA during his visit to Manipur on 22nd March, 2025.
