Cherrapunji Craft Gin Raises 1.2 Million in Pre-Series A Round from Japanese Investors

Raincheck Earth Co., the makers of the award-winning Cherrapunji Craft Gin, has successfully raised 1.2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round from two prominent Japanese investors. The round also saw participation from AngelList India Syndicate, who doubled down on their previous investments, marking a significant milestone for the company.

This funding round is a landmark achievement for Cherrapunji Craft Gin, making it the first alcoholic beverage startup from North East India to secure foreign investment. The company has gained significant global recognition for its flagship product, which has already won 13 global awards since launch , solidifying its place as a standout in the competitive craft spirits market.
