TCI expresses gratitude; Renews call for action, seeks response from government
The Thadou Community International (TCI) expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Shri Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh (Keba), Hon'ble MLA, Patsoi AC, for his prompt and supportive response to our Open Letter addressed to Shri N. Biren Singh, Chief Minister, and the people of Manipur. We deeply appreciate his thoughtful acknowledgment of our concerns during the Zero Hour of the Sixth Session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 9, 2024.
We hope that other MLAs, CSOs, distinguished personalities, and the general public of Manipur will join Shri Sapam Kunjakeswor in supporting our concerns.
We reiterate our earnest appeal to the Honourable Chief Minister and Leader of the House, Shri N. Biren Singh, and the Honourable Speaker to respond positively to our Open Letter (August 8, 2024) regarding accurate use of name to call Thadou tribe by making a formal statement in the august house during the ensuing sixth session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly.
