Mushroom cultivation technology training program at Bishnupur

A training program on Mushroom cultivation technology was organized by Rama Foundation in collaboration with Reunion Foundation from 02nd to 05th December 2024, at Bishnupur, Manipur, India.

The program successfully brought together participants from five different districts of Manipur.

Resource person Mr. Soram Rajendra Kumar, a Regional Achiever Awardees, and Mongshangbam Lucky delivered a talk on scientific methods of mushroom cultivation, disease management, identification of poisonous mushrooms, value-added products such as pickles and dried mushrooms, marketing, and financial assistance.

The objective of this initiative is to increase production, empower individuals with valuable skills to improve their quality of life, and help them become more self-reliant. The main theme of the training program is to help generate income and develop skills.
