Livelihood Support & Distress Relief at Sugnu
In continuation of its relief efforts, on Saturday, 27 Jan 2024, the Ramakrishna Mission, Babupara, Imphal, provided 350 Kgs of Potato Sprouts, 120 Kgs Green Peas Seeds, 35 Kgs Rajma Seeds & 20 Kgs Dhaniya Seeds, as collective livelihood support for the economically distressed farmers at Sugnu, in Kakching district, which has been one of the worst affected areas during the ongoing crisis.

Moreover, in January 2024, the Ramakrishna Mission also distributed 1105 nos of Thermal Vests, 422 nos of Thermal Trousers, 661 pairs of winter socks, 170 Shawls, 95 Blankets, 16 pairs of footwears, along with food ration (Biscuits, Pulses, Soyabean, Milk Powder, Mothers' Horlicks, Infant Milk, etc.) and other miscellaneous items, at 19 Relief camps & 4 other areas in Bishnupur, Kakching, Imphal East & Imphal West districts, benefiting 3124 individuals from 1181 affected families .

Since May, 2023, the Ramakrishna Mission has been relentlessly making efforts to serve the affected people and reiterates deepest sympathies for those afflicted by the ongoing crisis & offer sincere prayers to the Almighty God for their well being.
