The Thadou Community International (TCI) is deeply perturbed to learn about the internecine strife between United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) cadres and Village Volunteers that occurred on August 9, 2024, at Molnoi/TS Laijang villages, Tengnoupal District, Manipur, resulting in the loss of four precious lives.
We are profoundly saddened and disturbed by the senseless violence and bloodshed. As an organization committed to promoting peace, unity, and harmony among all communities, we strongly condemn such acts of violence and divisiveness.
We urge all parties involved to immediately cease hostilities and engage in peaceful dialogue to resolve their differences. We also call upon concerned leaders, elders, and stakeholders to take proactive steps to restore trust, mutual understanding, and lead them towards the path of reconciliation.
The TCI extends our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
