Tribal Designers Engage with AI Expert Dr. Stefan Leichenauer at 5th day of Tribal Futures Online Fest

On the fifth day of the month-long online festival 'Tribal Futures' organized by the Tribal Design Forum, Dr. Stefan Leichenauer, a global AI expert from Palo Alto, USA, and Vice President of SandboxAQ, joined the event.

Dr. Leichenauer shared a presentation about basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and discussed the revolutionary outcomes being achieved by various AI models worldwide. The session was moderated by Anupam Purti, a graphic designer from Ranchi.

During the session, Dr. Leichenauer had engaging discussions with the forum members. Several tribal designers asked questions about the role AI can play in their products and designs. Dr. Leichenauer also had the opportunity to learn about the curiosity of designers and creative professionals from various tribal communities in India.

Responding to a question about AI regulation, Dr. Leichenauer emphasized the urgent need for strict regulations worldwide. He explained that as a new technology, AI regulations are currently under discussion, but we can expect to see concrete regulations soon. He also clarified that AI will not replace humans but will emerge as a valuable tool that can simplify complex tasks, making it essential for humans to learn AI technology.
