The Tangkhul Naga Society Delhi (TNSD) is organizing the 3rd North East Tamchon Football Trophy from 30th October to 21st November 2009 at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium, ITO, New Delhi.

The trophy, which is on invitational basis only to Communities/student unions from Northeast region in Delhi, aims to provide opportunity to the talented youths, there by promoting friendship, unity and interaction through games and sports amongst the Northeastern people in Delhi.

The winner of the trophy will be awarded with the TNSD trophy in addition to Rs 5.0 lakh case prize, medals and certificates. The trophy can be owned by any team who wins the Trophy consecutively for three years.

The first-runners up will be awarded medals and certificates, with a cash prize of Rs. 3.0 lakhs.

The second-runners up will also be awarded medals and certificates along with a cash prize of Rs. 2.0 lakhs.
