NEROCA was established in the year 1965 and registered in 1972 (registration no 1016). Many number of footballers from NEROCA had played in several reputed clubs of India.

NEROCA claimed champion title of the 44th edition of CC MEET in the year of 2000. In 2002, 2005 and 2008 NEROCA lost in the final match in CC Meet.

NEROCA was State League football tournament runners-up in 2007. The club do face financial shortage every year with an expenditure of 20 lakhs approximately every year excluding transfer session. NEROCA also conducted LOTTERY every year to raise money which in turn is the main resources for the club finances.

The present NEROCA club building was inaugurated by N Biren (minister) on july 7th 2008. The Club building has the following : ground floor kitchen, dinning hall and some shop/dukan. 1st floor main office and the top floor are used for players lodging.

Few local enterprises and companies sponsor jersey and others materials. Mention maybe made of Babina Clinic who offered free treatment for the players of NEROCA.

Minister N Biren is the current president of NEROCA and N Binodkumar @ Chand is the secretary of the club.
