National Sports University (NSU), Manipur, is organizing a National webinar on ‘Tokyo Olympics 2020- Indian Journey and Expectations’ on 3rd July 2021. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports (Independent Charge) Kiren Rijiju will inaugurate the webinar as Chief Guest.

Padma Bhushan and Dronacharya Awardee, Badminton Coach P. Gopichand will be Guest of Honour. The inauguration ceremony will preside by Shri R.C Mishra, IAS, Retd. Vice-Chancellor, National Sports University. As a special guest Padma Shri N Kunjarani Devi, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna Award and former Olympian, V. Bhaskaran, Captain of 1980 Olympics Gold medal winner Indian Hockey team, Anju Bobby George, World Championship medallist, and Former Olympian, Dr. Lim Boon Hooi, Dean (Academics), Deputy Chair of National Coaching Academy, Malaysia will grace the inauguration.

During the technical sessions, the President of Hockey India Gyanendro Ningombam, Former Regional Director of SAI Guwahati Dr. Subhash Basumatary, Dronacharya Awardee Coach Nagapuri Ramesh, Former member of Indian Football team Gouramangi Singh, Former Secretary (Sports) AIU Dr. Gurdeep Singh, Former Vice-Chancellor of Swarnim Gujarat Sports University Dr. Jatin Soni, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Manav Rachna Prof. G. L. Khanna, and Sports Psychologist for Olympians Sanjana Kiran will present their profession perspective on the topic of the webinar.
