Sport unites people divided by politics and religion. As Manipur’s five Olympians prepare for their medal campaigns in London, religious leaders came together here today for a joint prayer session for the success of the state’s players.
Rev. S.K. Luwang, Maulana Najimuddin, Hindu priest Aribam Phoni Sharma and Meitei religious leader Th. Radhamohon recited from holy texts and prayed for the victory of the players.
