Boris has a uniqueness in football. He can play as a striker and a defender too.

At his tender age, he chooses playing football between studies and playing football.

He was made to play in a football tournament at Taobungkhok after a request from one Pahari of Takhel.

To took part in the tournament Pahari wait two hours for Boris to finish his academic class.

This made his father Muhesh wondered, how well Boris is playing football and went to watch the match without informing his son.

Boris made a pass and one of his team mate scored a goal in the match.

The next morning Muhesh called Boris and asked 'do you want to play football or concentrate on studies'. Boris replied, i want to play football.

From that day onwards, Muhesh adviced his son to play football as well as has a concerned for his studies.

But, Muhesh never gave a freehand to his son. Muhesh always accompanied his son while going for practise. Every requirement for playing were made within a day or two whenever his son urge.

Boris was trained from YWC Langthabal for two months and at YOSC Khurai Konsam Leikai under the guidance of coach Biren and others.

Later, he played at the national level that leads to join a coaching camp at Goa.
