Birchandra Memorial Sporting Club (BMSC) en-route to Asia Final

Birachandra Memorial Sporting Club (BMSC) of Taobungkhok one of the Imphal West District Football Assn registered club, participated in the State Under 15 years boys football tournament organized by All Manipur Football Association held at Artificial turf of Lamlong in the month of April 2013. In this tournament BMSC big margin won all match by 8-0, 10-0 and 12-1 goals.
BMSC, champion of the state tournament, was qualified for North, East zone Manchester United Premier Cup 2013 India Finals held at Keenan Stadium Jamshedpur from 29th April to 3rd May 2013.
At Jamshedpur, BMSC was in group C. In the league round, BMSC beat Delhi by 1-0 goal, BMSC beat Punjab by 2-0 goals and claimed winner of group C.
In the first semifinal match, BMSC beat East Bengal by 4-2 goals in tie-break. In the final match, BMSC lost in the hand of Chandigarh by 1-2 goals. For this tournament the two finalists qualified for India main final at Goa.
At Goa, in the first semifinal match BMSC (runners-up of North, East zone Manchester United Premier Cup 2013) beat Air India (winner of South, West zone Manchester United Premier Cup 2013) by 1-0 goal on 8th May 2013.
In the second semifinal match winner of North, East zone, Manchester United Premier Cup 2013 , Chandigarh lost in the hand of Mumbai FC of South, West Manchester United Premier Cup 2013 by 0-1 goal.
The crucial final match held on 9th May 2013. BMSC and Mumbai FC played till extra time with both team could not score a winning goal. The penalty kick started with both team converting 4-4 goal each out of 5 kickers.
The 'Sudden death' decided the crucial final match. First kicker of BMSC in sudden death by goalkeeper of BMSC M Romario converted the goal. The Mumbai FC kicker shot the ball however the best goalkeeper at Jamshedpur Mr M. Romario brilliant saved and thus BMSC qualified for Manchester United Premier SEAS finals Asia cup 2013 to be held at Malaysia Kualampur from 9th June to 14th June 2013.
BMSC will represent India U-15 yrs football team in this Asia SEAS finals at Malaysia.
In the meantime, Senior Indian football Team Chief Coach and Goalkeeper Coach gave special training to the BMSC young heroes at Goa on 10th May 2013. BMSC team are now in Guwahati for Foreign passport. The team will be back to the Sports Capital Imphal on May 21 or 22 Tuesday or Wednesday by flight.
A 3 days training will be held at the artificial turf at Imphal and then the team will fly to Malaysia via Bangalore. On 27th May 2013 the BMSC India team will fly to Kuala Lampur, Malaysia . On the evening of May 28th 2013, training session will commence at Penang, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.

BEST PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT: M. ROMARIO SINGH of BMSC at GOA.
M. Romario Singh brilliantly saved one tie-break at Jamshedpur vs East Bengal and one tie-break & one sudden dead kick at Goa.
Former Indian team captain Baichung Bhutia and Indian Team Captain, Sunil Chettri also interacted with the BMSC players and officials for this forthcoming Asia Finals.
