Only 66 crore washed sin at Kumbh

In the absence of a census report of 2021, at present it is estimated that India has about 140 crore population. Out of 140 crore only 66 crore turned up for a holy dip at Sangam (the confluence of Ganga ,Jamuna and Saraswati ) in Prayagraj. This was the biggest ever multi-community bath in the history of mankind. It can happen only in India because of its deep rooted cultural heritage intrinsic to this sub-continent for ages.

Sin washing at Maha Kumbh started on 13 Jan , and continued till 26 Feb ; ended with Mahashivratri – Shiv ji, as usual drank all the sins of 66.30 crore people. What a climax of the Maha Kumbha 2025.

We must learn how to organize such spiritual and astronomical events more smoothly . For the next Kumbh which is to come after 12 years we must start thinking and planning from today – with the experience of Prayagraj. Before achieving Vikshit Bharat in 2047 we will be having two more Kumbha melas.

Those who went straight to heaven from Prayagraj – let us pray for them.We don’t know the exact figure .Very lucky people – they might have done some commendable karma in the last birth. Out of several million people only a few handful of people had the opportunity to reach the heavenly abode instant from Sangam.

Innumerable criminals, crooks and netas – had a holy dip . We firmly believe that their sins might have been washed by the holy dip. Millions took the dip to energies or rejuvenate themselves. Only a few took the dip without any reasons. A limited number took bath in the sacred water just to become holier. The saints, babas, priests – they took the dip to make themselves holier.

Common people took the dip thinking that they will achieve what they want with the new energy and nectar from the holy water at Prayagraj. Majority of the people did not turn up . It is a matter to be looked into by the national government . They must take the moral responsibility for the poor turnout at Maha Kumbha.

An organizer was defending the dispensation saying that they were expecting about 40 crore . But it was reported that a total of 66.30 crore turned from 13 Jan to 26 Feb ; people kept coming non stop for the holy dip at Sangam. On the last lady itself, that is the 26 Feb , the Maha Shivratri day – more than 1.53 crore turned up .

In addition to lacs of security personnel and government functionaries who were deployed there for months together, we are told that nearly 16 thousand RSS workers were also helping the devotees. Later their number was further augmented .They had rendered selfless service .They worked in shifts and they worked day and night.They provided 24 hour service.

Many visitors appreciated the work of Sangh Parivar because they did the service sincerely and honestly. At the end of the day government agencies and security people became tired . Surprisingly the RSS volunteers remained energetic despite several constraints; and they remained disciplined and energetic throughout in helping the devotees.

Accommodation, transport, fooding, toilet facilities, navigation , queue system, parking arrangement, train management, flight arrangement, chopper service, river cleaning - water flow management (artificial), health care, lost and found counter, controlling criminal activities, provision of overall security.

It is a long list – a humongous task. In fact , this Maha Kumbha is a subject of study for modern management professionals and policy planners. Management Schools must study how to handle such mega events – smoothly and more effectively.

Old devotees always remain strong; they don’t suffer from any exposure to such highly energized water. Moreover they keep being exposed to this sacred water every now and then; so there was no adverse effect or impact on their bodies. The new devotees like Mary Kom, Katrina and Remo,Chris Martin, Dakota Johnson might have some overwhelming effect on their body and soul as a result of such holy dip.

Someone at the top says “ nearly twice the population of the US participated in this Ekta ka Maha Kumbh. If scholars of spirituality analyze the enthusiastic participation of crores of Indians, they will find that India, proud of its heritage, is now surging ahead with new-found energy’.

Organizing such a massive event was no joke. With the blessings of Lord Shiva ,Ganga Mata, Maa Jamuna & Maa Saraswati (in absentia ) the entire Mela went on smoothly except one or two incidents.

Actually people went for a holy dip at Sangam for rejuvenation and for empowerment. Ironically I saw people of my State lose power after the dip at Prayagraj. Our leaders experienced that they became powerless and statusless within a few days of the holy dip.

It might be because of the cleaning process by divine intervention. But there were exceptions; look at Ambanis and Adanis .They always remain vibrant before and after the dip.

Believe it or not, this Maha Kumbh Mela generated 2 trillion rupees in terms of revenue and economic impact. WoW !
