Chicken neck on the plate

Quite often Chicken neck becomes the focal point whenever something serious happens between India and Pakistan (plus Bangladesh). A few days back one unelected undisputed leader of Bangladesh visited China and he had a meeting with Xi. He perhaps told the Chinese leader that the seven sisters in the North East are locked and they can be properly exploited. Their opening is possible only through Bangladesh.
The octogenarian Nobel laureate has some memory issues. He is 84 and he has dementia. First we are now eight sisters not seven. He might have forgotten Sikkim; Or is this a ploy to make their Master happy ?
After the withdrawal of US aid Bangladesh is under tremendous financial crisis. Perhaps their Foreign Exchange reserves have also been exhausted. Now they are standing with a begging bowl in front of Xi. An airbase at Lal Monirhat (Bangladesh) with Chinese and Pakistani assistance near the Siliguri corridor is not a good sign.
And $ 350 million Chinese aid for setting up an economic and industrial zone at Chitagram is another eyesore. Perhaps Raju Bista the Darjeeling MP is more concerned about National security than Didi. Doklam and Chicken-neck sounds like edible items but these are dangerous zones —anything can happen from here whenever there is a conflict with Pakistan.
These days China, Pakistan and Bangladesh are in nexus against India. ISKCON is accepted everywhere. Earlier they were banned or treated as aberrations. Now they are operating in the US, UK, Canada, and even in Islamic countries. They simply spread the message of love and peace —completely absorbed in the devotion of Sri Krishna .
One Kishna Das an ISKCON priest in Bangladesh is still in Jail — they alleged that he dishonored their National flag — whihc is most probably be a pretext. We honestly believe that this is not an age of war. But it is now knocking at our doors.
The Pahalgam terror attack has forced India to think about an appropriate action against its promoters and perpetrators. If full fledged war is not an option—then what ? No flying permission to the Pak Airlines or associated airlines over Indian Territory is given now; all Visas cancelled; Pak Envoys were sent out. Train/bus services stopped, borders shielded and made the boundaries hyper vigilant.
Pak also reciprocated in the same manner. The Indus water treaty has been done away with. Pakistan will suffer due to shortage of water. But can we stop the flowing water now ? Dam construction takes time. Likewise river water diversion is no joke. On a war footing hillocks may be blasted and natural dams and streams can be made.
One erudite Baba having foreign degree asked - where to keep the water — is there storage or any water diversion plan. One expert maintains that it may take at least 510 years to set up an emergency dam — and arrange for proper use of the water. Instantly what can be done is to make artificial dams by bombardment and also water diversion using the same method.
All the Ravanas around us must be destroyed otherwise we can't live in peace. We all know who is behind such abhorrent acts. Honestly speaking the Kashmiri natives will not do anything which amounts to self destruction. So, involvement of the external hand is obvious. For the last few years Kashmiris were benefitting hugely from tourism and tourism related businesses. And recently elections were held peacefully.
Such things can't be digested by those sitting across the borders. Another theory is that the existing super powers may not like to see India becoming one of them. India is now the fourth largest economy in the world. It has surpassed the world's fourth largest economy Japan, with a GDP of $4.187 trillion. And India's growth rate is the fastest in the world.
In the next few years India will become the third largest economy. So it could be a conspiracy to derail India in its journey to become a global power. By pushing India to a conflict with Pakistan and Bangladesh, a neighborhood super power may desire to slow down India's fast move towards becoming a global economic power.
Chinese support to Pakistan, tacit understanding with Myanmar and growing nexus with Bangladesh may prove costly to us. The string of pearls is getting more visible in the North East now. One Pakistani loafer proudly says there will be no Indo-Pak war — the reason being, Pakistanis had borrowed billions from everywhere — the lenders shall not allow India to destroy Pakistan — " paisa mara jayega".
Though war is not happening, the unelected Bangladeshi Baba is fishing in troubled water — they have an evil eye on our sisters. All the innocent good looking NE sisters are rattled. 'Ocean guardian' desires to exploit them with the help of the `Dragon'.
In the meanwhile Fazlur Rahman, a seemingly senile retired Major General of Bangladesh Army suggested that they should invade and occupy all seven North Eastern States of India by chopping the chicken neck perhaps with a Chinese chop knife.
My concern is — after their Conquest — whom to submit our demands like - resurrection of the State Government, ST demand, Separate Administration in the form of a Union Territory or whatever its shape ultimatum and so many others etc.
