Diamonds are Girl's Best Friend

"The French are glad to die for love.
They delight in fighting duels.
But I prefer a man who lives And gives expensive jewels.
A kiss on the hand May be quite continental,
But diamonds are a girl's best friend. "

I am worried.

Either there is something went wrong with me , everywhere I see there are women with diamonds on their fingers, on TV commercials ,on net , everywhere there are diamonds.

Is that a new Idea of a falling in love ?? am I in love with diamonds ??? I do have weakness for stones but diamonds had become an obsession??

Diamonds are allotrope of carbon. It is a hard rock it can cut anything and can melt any women's heart. It is originated from Greek word "adamas", meaning unconquerable, their indestructibility, sparkling life have made diamonds the true symbol of enduring love.

But it won't pay the rental

But square-cut or pear-shaped,

Don't get me wrong my idea for perfect man is that he must have ability to acquire and accumulate resources and have willingness to invest them in me. A good way to screen his love is to demand for an expensive gift. Would any of these expensive gifts like land or house in posh areas or a luxury car do??

No these gifts will not do. As these gifts indicates intrinsic value, a man who is interested in luxury will buy a car.

A man who has passion for real estate would buy a house in posh areas. These gifts are not clear and ambiguous indicator of his willingness to invest resources in woman he loves.

Diamonds make the excellent indicator of love as they are very expensive and lack intrinsic value. They show the "willingness "of man to invest in her. These gifts are also known as extravagant gift so I want my man to give me costly and that" worthless" gift as it facilitate love and bring back fizz in life.
