The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi (LNKR), along with its constituent units—Tamei HQ Students' Union, Chiang Students' Union, and Malek Students' Union—expresses deep concern and unwavering commitment to the upliftment of Langmei Higher Secondary School, Tamei.
We firmly uphold the principle that the welfare and development of students shall never be compromised. Our dedication to ensuring academic excellence and holistic growth of the institution remains resolute, and we will leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of this mission.
In compliance to the order issued by the Government of Manipur, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tamenglong District, vide it's letter no. DC (TML) 5/1/86-87/Vol. III dated 25th March, 2025 show cause for illegal occupation within Langmei Higher Secondary School, Tamei Sub-Division, Tamenglong the LNKR and its constituent student bodies fully endorse and support the directive. We stand committed to ensuring its effective and timely implementation, recognizing its importance for the welfare and advancement of both students and the institution.
We also appeal to all individuals and stakeholders to extend their full support toward the initiatives undertaken by the concerned authorities. The LNKR and its constituent unions will closely monitor all developmental projects allotted to Langmei Higher Secondary School and ensure their transparent and effective execution. Timely implementation is crucial to securing tangible progress and uplifting the entire community.
However, we are deeply disturbed by recent incidents involving the misuse and damage of Boy's Hostel constructed at Khomlong, Tamei. Such irresponsible and unacceptable actions undermine the integrity of our society. The LNKR, alongside its units, strongly condemns these acts.
We urge all citizens to uphold their civic duties and treat public property with respect. Any individual found engaging in acts of vandalism will be held accountable and dealt with according to the law.
Together, let us work for the betterment of our educational institutions, the welfare of our students, and the integrity of our community.
