NERIST and NIELIT Itanagar Sign MoU

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli, and the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar Centre, have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening technical cooperation and fostering skill development in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

The MoU was signed on 23rd May 2025, with Dr. M.K. Camder, Registrar NERIST and Shri Raj Kumar Bigensana Singh, Director-In-charge NIELIT Itanagar, representing their respective institutions.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Narendranath S. Director NERIST, Deans, Prof. (Dr.) Moirangthem Marjit Singh, Department of Computer Science Engineering, NERIST & SPoC for NIELIT Itanagar at NERIST, HoDs, faculty members etc.

This MoU marks a significant step towards building a dynamic partnership that not only enhances student and faculty capabilities but also contributes to the regional and national ICT ecosystem. The collaboration will include joint training programs, workshops and research projects that will enrich opportunities for academic and professional growth of both the Institutions.
