MoU with Nittur IAS Academy to Support UPSC Aspirants from Manipur
The Manipuri Diaspora Bengaluru (MDB) is pleased to announce a significant collaboration with Nittur IAS Academy to support underprivileged students from Manipur aspiring to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
On 29th March 2025, the Manipuri Diaspora Bengaluru (MDB) and Nittur IAS Academy officially formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the academy’s office in Bengaluru.
The signing ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including MDB Executive Members, Mr. Victor Serto Kom (President, MDB), Mr. Chinir Angkham Moyon (General Secretary, MDB), Dr. G. Vishwanath (Director, Nittur IAS Academy), and Mr. Rajesh A.M., IFS (Liaison Officer).
Additionally, Sub-Unit Leaders representing various tribes and communities of Manipur were present, further strengthening the collaborative efforts to support aspiring civil service candidates.

Key Highlights of the Agreement
o 20 seats reserved exclusively for underprivileged students from Manipur to pursue UPSC coaching.
o 100% scholarship for students affected by the ongoing conflict in Manipur.
o 50% fee concession for meritorious students aspiring for civil service examinations.
o Up to 50% fee concession for working professionals, with online, offline, and weekend class options available.
o First batch to commence in June 2025 under this partnership.
This initiative has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of our Liaison Officer, Mr. Rajesh A.M., IFS, who has been appointed by the Government of Manipur to assist and support the people of Manipur in Bengaluru and across Karnataka. His commitment and leadership have been instrumental in securing this collaboration, ensuring that deserving students receive the best possible guidance and opportunities to achieve their aspirations.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing their dedication to the cause. As a gesture of hospitality, Nittur IAS Academy hosted a luncheon for the attendees, fostering an environment of collaboration and goodwill.
