1000 Scholarships for SSC Aspirants from Scheduled Tribes

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organisation that conducts various examinations every year to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, departments, and organisations of the Government of India. Every year, about 30 lakh candidates fill out the SSC CGL application form and about 15 lakh aspirants appear for the exam. (33,55,194 candidates registered for SSC CGL 2022).

SSC CGL examination is very competitive as it covers a wide range of topics and tests the candidate's knowledge in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and general awareness. However, only with proper preparation, strategy, practice and access to study materials, can one qualify through the exams.

Every year, lakhs of SSC aspirants persevere in the preparation of these exams hoping to be rewarded with selection. SSC examination preparation can sometimes prove to be financially difficult for the members of the tribal communities across India, since the aspirants from these communities often come from economically marginalized sections, for whom accessing exam preparation courseware could be financially challenging.

Tribal Design Forum and 1EQ Foundation seeks to address the aspirations of the young members from the tribal communities, who are SSC aspirants could be supported by enabling them to access high-quality, well-designed study material to help them prepare well for the SSC examinations with least financial burden on them.

To facilitate access to quality SSC examination preparation, Tribal Design Forum and 1EQ Foundation have come together to offer 1000 Scholarships to SSC Aspirants from all tribal communities in India (as listed in the Scheduled Tribe list of the Government of India) with the hope that it shall enable them to prepare well for SSC examinations.

This is the second edition of the TDF SSC Scholarship. In the last edition, SSC aspirants from 16 states and members from more than 25 tribal communities benefitted from the Scholarship.

1EQ Foundation shall be providing free access to 1PYQ – an innovative mobile app that shall enable the aspirants to play audio, print and practice Previous Year Questions of SSC Exams in an affordable manner. One of the unique features of the 1PYQ app is its customisation for people with disabilities with a very intuitive user-friendly interface.

The 1000 TDF SSC Scholarships are being offered on a need-based basis to provide multimedia digital and print SSC Exam study kits for the preparation of upcoming examinations. SSC aspirants from the tribal communities can apply for the TDF SSC Scholarships till 07 April 2024 through www.tribaldesignforum.com.
