MoU with National Institute of Immunology, Delhi
IBSD, Imphal signed MoU with National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi for collaborative research on therapeutics evaluation of medicinal plants.
Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal signed MoU with National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi for collaborative research on therapeutics evaluation of medicinal plants for various metabolic disorders.
NII, New Delhi is working in the area of basic and applied immunology for understanding the mechanism of the immune system as well as the pathogens responsible for causing the disease. IBSD is working on promotion and development of therapeutically important bioresources of NER under the leadership of Prof. Pulok K. Mukherjee, Director, IBSD, Imphal.
IBSD has already signed MoUs with many institutes to enhance the research activities in this region. During the programme, Dr. Pushkar Sharma, Acting Director, NII, scientists and staffs from both the institutes were present. This collaborative research will help in development of natural resources and capacity building of scientists and students of NER in future.
