Construction Committee of Meetei Yumpham (Delhi) formed

Delhi Meetei Co-ordinating Committee (DMCC) & Meetei Yumpham Trust (Delhi) organised a Discission on the Discourse on Culture and Tradition of Manipur on 19th January 2025 from 2.PM to 5.PM at South Delhi.

After the discussion, it was unanimously resolved that a Meetei Yumpham will be established in Delhi for the first time. This Meetei Yumpham (Delhi) will be a “Sacred Space, A Cultural Hub and a Community Heart”.

The meeting resolved that “In the heart of busting metropolis like in Delhi, it is required to curb out a sacred space, a cultural haven, a home for our hearts. Meetei Yumpham in Delhi is more than just an initiative, it is a testament to our collective sprit, a beacon of our cultural activities”.

The Meetei Yumpham (Delhi) will by graced by the temple of Lainingthou Sanamahi and Eputhou Pakhangba. This will be established with the support of the public by Meetei Yumpham Trust (Delhi). The Meetei Yumpham Construction Committee (Delhi) was formed to establish the Meetei Yumpham in Delhi in the meeting.

On the occasion, the Core Committee members (Executive Members) of Women’s Wing, Delhi Meetei Co-Ordinating Committee (DMCC) was also constituted. The members are as follows:
