Burma's protracted conflict is a complex mixture of issues that have been categorically projected domestically and to the international community by various stakeholders, Burmese and non-Burmese alike.

This panel attempts to share and open a discussion on some perspectives on Burma's on-going internal conflict, the issues of identity and national reconciliation through the eyes of a few indigenous scholars and activists of the country.
