Imphal, May 31 2010: Expressing serious concern over prolonged imposition of economic blockade along the National Highways, Nupi Lan and Khongjom War Memorial Society has demanded lifting of the blockade immediately.

The Society has also expressed its dissatisfaction over the failure of the Central Government to take up necessary action in this regard as well as over the failure of the three Manipuri MPs in taking up the present impasse to the notice of the Centre.
