Imphal, January 07: The president of the All India Congress Committee has given the approval to admit six MLAs, four from the FPM and two from the MSCP, to the Congress party ahead of the upcoming 9th Assembly election.

The MLAs who have been admitted into the fold of the Congress are N Bihari (Khurai AC, FPM), I Hemochandra (Singjamei, FPM), N Biren (Sekmai, FPM), S Chandra (Andro, FPM), Y Erabot (Wangkhei, MSCP) and Vivek Raj Wangkhem (Kshetrigao, MSCP).
