Imphal, November 08: All the critical issues plaguing the State would be studied minutely in the National executive meeting scheduled for December 22 and during the subsequent executive council meetings on the following two days, said BJP general secretary in-charge of North East V Satish.

"The ensuing party's sessions would be of extra significance as all the critical issues prevailing in Manipur and other States which would be going to polls would be studied at length", said Satish during an exclusive talk with The Sangai Express today.

Disclosing that the pea-ce and development would be the main planks on which BJP would contest the forth -coming elections, he exu-ded confidence that final a shape of the party's poll campaign would emerge after the sessions.

Before the formal launch of the BJP poll campaign, the party would publish a charge-sheet to the people against the misgovernance of SPF Government in Manipur.

In tandem with the charge-sheet, the manifesto of BJP would be released soon, said Satish.

Asserting that the Congress party has utterly failed to address the critical issues besetting the State, Satish said that the people would surely teach befitting lessons to the Cong- ress party and its allies in the forthcoming elections.

He even went on to say that the Congress party would be thrown of power.

Apart from the Congress party and the Left parties, BJP would be opened to pre or post poll alliance with all other parties, Satish stated.

Responding to a query, he disclosed that no formal discussions have been ma-de to secure any sort of alli- ance with other parties.

Elaborating on the agenda of BJP ahead of the polls, Satish said that BJP would insist upon the Union Government to impose President's Rule in Manipur so that the upcoming Assembly elections are held in a free and fair manner.

Even as the exact figure of the number of candidates has not been settled, BJP would field maximum number of candidates this time, informed Satish.

Once the list of prospective candidates are short-listed by the State Committee, the list would be sent to the Central Election Committee of BJP for final recommendation, he said.

Four BJP MPs -Tapir Gao, Karuna Shukla, Tha-warchand Gehlot and Dhar- mendra Pradhan would be arriving at Imphal tomorrow to take part in the BJP State unit's Yuva and Mahila sessions slated for tomorrow and the day after, informed Satish.
