Imphal, August 21: A non-Manipuri has been found dead at Senapati ground at around 2 pm today with sources speculating that the man might have passed out due to epilepsy fits.

The yet-to be identified individual was last seen at New Karong area where locals had temporarily treated him from the ailment.

At Senapati ground body of the man was found face down in a puddle.

Meanwhile, relevant arrangements have been made for disposal of two corpses recovered from Bishnupur districts and Kangpokpi sub-division on August 15 and 16 respectively.

In the first case, body of one killed in an encounter by troops of 4/8 Gorkha Rifles at Chini Ingkhol area of Bishnupur district on August 15 evening has been handed over to police for disposal on completion of post mortem examination at RIMS morgue today.

Post mortem has also been conducted on the corpse recovered from IT road of kangpokpi sub-division on August 16 morning and handed over to police station concerned for disposal as unclaim body.

On the otherhand, body of one Irom Shantibala Devi (24) of Mayang Imphal Kokchai Awang Leikai, who is suspected to have committed suicide by consuming poison on August 18, has been handed over to family members after the post mortem at RIMS morgue today.
