Imphal, September 23: 'Bomb may be like toys to them, but for us it is frightening and very serious', said a student of Kangleipak Para-medical Nursing Institute who has not been able to study and attend practical classes after the bomb attack at the institute.

Unidentified armed persons lobbed a bomb at the Institute located at Khurai Sajor Leikai on September 19 at around 8.45 pm.

The bomb reportedly landed inside the prayer hall of the institute shattering doors and window panes.

In protest against the incident, a Wakat Meepham was staged at Khurai Lamlong Bazar today.

The protest demonstration was organised jointly by Apunba Nupi Lup, Khurai; Union of Social Upliftment and Lamlong Keithel Phambi Apunba Nupi Lup.

Some of the students of the nursing institute who participated in the demonstration said that such incidents of bomb attack at educational institutions is regrettable.
