Imphal, January 24: Following an MoU signed between the JAC Against the Killing of Innocent S Raju and the State Government at the Chief Minister's office today, the corpse of Raju has been claimed by family members after post mortem at RIMS today.

Raju s/o Sandham Kaoba of Moirang Chengei Leikai but staying at Salem Veng, Churachandpur was shot dead by personnel of 3 AR on the charge of being a UG cadre in the night of January 21, According to the MoU signed today, the Government should institute a Departmental enquiry within a week and should take up due legal actions against all those found guilty.

In case Sandham Raju was found not guilty, the Government should provide adequate ex-gratia to the bereaved family, conveyed a press release issued by the JAC.
