Imphal, March 03: The proscribed PREPAK has cautioned all civilians not to stay in or near the quarters of Ministers and MLAs at Babupara.

In case of any untoward incident to civilians resulting from the outfit's action against the alleged corrupt Ministers and MLAs, PREPAK will not bear any responsibility.

A statement issued by the Commanding Officer of PREPAK Red Army's Cobra Task Force Bobby Meitei that the quarters of Ministers and MLAs have become the command centre for murdering and harassing civilians and the hub of corruption.

These places are the home of the agents of the Union Govt.Asserting that the Govt has been openly encouraging violation of human rights by awarding gallantry awards to security personnel notorious for arrested men, Bobby alleged that the Govt is not a people's Govt. The Govt has been espousing criminal activities and violation of human rights by security forces by increasing their pay, allowance and equipment thereby creating fear among the people, it alleged.

In the name of counter insurgency operation, the Govt allows the security forces to extort from employees and business persons.

The State Govt is unable to punish its wayward and undiscipline security personnel as Chief Minister O Ibobi himself neck-deep in corruption, it further charged.

The monthly income earned by O Ibobi by allegedly deducting from development funds would be hundred times larger than the total annual income of the UG groups.
