The Pineapple farmers of Manipur organised Pineapple extravaganzas on 27th and 28th August 2010 at Dr. Abdul Kalam Bunglon Churachandpur district around 60kms from Imphal.
In this Pineapple fest, a Beauty contest was conducted. Manipur products 2.5 crores of pineapple in a season
