A major hailstorm erupted during the inauguration ceremony of Functioning of the new High Court complex, Imphal at Chingmeirong Imphal on April 07 2012 and destroyed the Programme venue . The Hon'ble Justice Altamas Kabir, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh were present during the inauguration.
