Manipur's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) PC Lawmkunga (extreme right) posted as an observer at Burma at the ongoing Parliamentary by-elections in Myanmar on April 1 2012.
The parliamentary by-elections for 48 parliamentary seats is significant as well as a historic event in the sense that the opposition National league for Democracy led by Suu Kyi will be participating in the hustings.
