A painting competition as part of World Environment Day 2011 which was celebrated at Ibudhou Oknarel Temple, Ningthoukhong, Manipur on June 5, 2011.
The celebration, organized by Loktak Development Authority and GENIM, Manipur, was joined by about 600 enthusiasts. The function was marked by Rally, Spot Painting Competition, Quiz on Environment, Tree Plantation, and a Public Function where environmentalist from across the state gave speech on various environmental issues and pathways to conservation.
