Huishu village is under the Chingai Sub-Division of Ukhrul district (as seen in March 2020 ) .
As of now, the village transportation is done by one Shaktiman truck, and one small suspension bridge to cross the river on foot. The village is about 64 kilometres from the district headquarter, Ukhrul and 139 km from Imphal and about 6 kilometres from the pillar 125 on the Indo-Myanmar border.
