The proposed NIT site in Langol, Manipur. The Langol residential area and Lamphelpat wetland preservation committee join venture against the Manipur state government on September 26th 2007. CM Ibobi say the Lamphelpat shall be institutional area. Thousands of peoples Langol area including students protest and coming to Lamphel police station for mass court arrest. The Langol peoples welcome the NIT at Manipur but not construction the residential area and agricultural land area.
