The 42 Assam Rifles, Manipur organised an educational cum National Integration tour of 20 School going children from Chandel district of Manipur to Bengaluru.
The children, along with Dr. V. Ramakantha (Addl. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Liaison Officer, Govt of Manipur) and Major S.K. Pillai from the Assam Rifles called on His Excellency, Dr. H.R. Bharadwaj, the Governor of Karnataka State, Bengaluru at Raj Bhavan on the 20th February 2012.
