Thousands of students came out to join the students rally demanding disturbance free educational zone in Manipur on July 5 2013. The rally was organized by the Democratic Student�s Alliance of Manipur (DESAM).
At Imphal, the rally was flagged off by state Education Director of Schools, H. Dilip Singh from THAU ground at Thangmeiband and covered the main routes of Imphal including Khoyathong, North AOC and Chingmeirong Khongnang Karak. Later, the rallyists assembled at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium for a public meeting.
